Mary Beth is the contact person for those needing more information about the pilgrimage offered to students, faculty and staff of American Franciscan Colleges and Universities.
Mary Beth Wisniewski works at AFCU affiliated Cardinal Stritch University as the associate director of the Health and Wellness Center. Mary Beth has an M.S. in Educational Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Along with her work as a mental health and wellness counselor at Stritch, she creates Wellness presentations and programs and assists on retreats.
She attended the Leadership Pilgrimage in 2013, and found that it was a transformative experience: “I always valued our Franciscan community, but the pilgrimage helped me to personally integrate the stories and values of Clare and Francis. Pilgrimage helped me understand our university mission with new depth, and to better approach interactions and decisions in a way that is aligned with mission. After the pilgrimage, I better understand living one’s mission, and the joy and abundant good that follow.”
