Sister Kathy Warren is a member of the Rochester, Minnesota Franciscans. Kathy’s passion for the vision of Francis and Clare of Assisi is shared in a variety of ways, including serving as a guide with the Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs. She is currently co-director of her congregational Franciscan Life in Mission Office. Her ministry also includes offering workshops and retreats around the country which focus on the Franciscan charism. Kathy’s specialty addresses Muslim-Christian interaction, peacemaking and inter-religious dialogue.
Kathy holds a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from Loyola University (Chicago), a Master’s Degree in Franciscan Studies from St. Bonaventure University and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Graduate Theological Foundation (South Bend, IN).
Kathy is the author of Daring to Cross the Threshold: Francis of Assisi Encounters Sultan Malek al-Kamil (2003). She is co-producer of the two-part DVD, In the Footprints of Francis and the Sultan: A Model for Peacemaking (2012).
