Patrick taught in Melbourne Catholic high schools, teaching Maths and RE. After completing a Masters in Theology, he was a high school faith leader for over 20 years and has recently retired. After a number of years teaching in the Lasallian charism, his last 12 years were in the Franciscan charism. His 2019 Rome and Assisi pilgrimage fed him personally and spiritually, leading him to complete the Certificate in Franciscan Studies through St. Francis University in Joliet, IL. This all helped cement the ongoing influence of the lives of Clare and Francis in his own life and ministry as well as his desire to continue to share this vibrant charism with others.

He has been happily married to AnneMaree for over 40 years. They have two adult sons.
