Born in Whiting, Indiana in 1944, Paul entered the Franciscans (Assumption Province) in 1963 and pronounced his final profession in 1967. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1972.
His undergraduate work included a BA in philosophy from Marquette University, Milwaukee, an MA in philosophy (1972) from DePaul University, Chicago and an MA in Theology (1972) from Aquinas Institute of Theology, Dubuque, Iowa. Additionally, he took courses in Franciscanism at St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY (1985, 1986). He holds a certificate in video production from New York University (2000).
His work has included Director of Communications for the Assumption BVM Province; teacher for Felician College, Lodi, New Jersey; staff member of the Secretariat of the Franciscan Mission, Waterford, Wisconsin; Vicar Provincial and Provincial Minister of the Assumption Province. His days are now consumed with graphic design for the various publications of Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs.
