Sr. Elizabeth Christensen, SDS
Sr. Liz Christensen is a member of the Sisters of the Divine Savior with its North American Province headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sr. Liz, a native of Two Harbors, MN, has lived in Wisconsin since she entered the Salvatorian Community in 1959. She has served as a secretary, as a Licensed Practical Nurse, as a member of a Team managing a nursing unit for elderly Sisters, and was one of two Sisters who started the Sisters’ Office of Development. Prior to coming to work at Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs in 1998, Sr. Liz served her Salvatorian Community as a secretary in their Generalate offices in Rome for three years, learning some basic Italian on the side. In her role as Administrative Assistant, Sr. Liz is responsible for communication with the pilgrims from the time they register until they land in the country of their pilgrimage.
