Family Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi
In the past few years, some pilgrims have suggested that they would like to go on a pilgrimage with their families. They wanted to share the experiences of pilgrimage with their children. As a result of that desire, we have arranged a Franciscan Pilgrimage for families: parents and children (over 12 years of age). The family will travel to Italy and will spend time at the great Franciscan shrines. There will be time for parents to experience their personal pilgrimage as adults with all the responsibilities of parenthood as well as time for the young people to spend time to walk their own pilgrimage as young people. Emphasis will include the birthing experience of Francis; childhood and young adulthood of Francis with his parents; and the common journeys of all pilgrims.
